No one under 21, including infants, admitted to either tasting. New discoveries and old favorites -- varietals you know and love, varietals you've never heard of -- wineries from Mendocino to Temecula and every place in between. Taste California! There will be far too many wineries at each tasting for you to visit them all, so plan your time. Use the list of participating wineries, the links to their web sites, and our Varietal Map to develop your tasting strategy.

Pasadena Sheraton Pasadena (adjacent to Convention Center) $139 626-449-4000 or 800-457-7940 Airport Transportation Del Mar: closest airport is San Diego, which is 35 minutes from the Fairgrounds. Shuttles run continuously and cost $40 to the Fairgrounds or $27 to the Hilton, which will provide a free shuttle to the Fairgrounds across the street. To reserve a return to the airport, call Express Shuttle, 800-900-7433.
Pasadena: closest airport is Burbank, about 40 minutes from the Convention Center. You must reserve from Super Shuttle (800-BLUEVAN, 800-258-3826) in advance as they do not have regular service to/from Burbank. You can also fly into LAX, Super Shuttle services Pasadena and does not require advance reservations, allow for an hour +.
