Larkmead Vineyards
Larkmead Vineyards was founded in 1895 and led the way as one of the "big four" Napa Valley wineries in the early 1900's. Recent years have seen a resurgence in the very highest quality wines from what Robert Parker calls, "a fabulous vineyard site." The Solari family bought the 140 acre property in 1948 and it is still family owned. A new Larkmead Vineyards winery on Larkmead Lane was completed in 2006.
