| Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery 
Description: Following an Embly generational tradition of farming for over a century, Hungry Hawk Vineyards is a family owned and operated boutique winery established in 2009 with the installation of our first vineyard block of Bordeaux, Rhone and Italian varietals. We have since expanded to 15 different varietals grown on our 10-acre property while practicing minimalist and sustainable farming. The opening of our newly built tasting room in 2014 inaugurated our move into the world of commercial wine making. It boasts gorgeous views of the vineyard and San Pasqual Valley from the patio.
At the heart of Hungry Hawk’s family-run winery is a passion for Old World style wines, where the personality of each vintage is showcased from year to year and the flavor of the land is brought forth through the thoughtful oversight of son and winemaker, Mike Embly. Each of our 15-estate grown and mostly Bordeaux, Rhone and Spanish varietals are tended to individually from vine to bottle to bring forth their unique personality. Our limited production of thoughtfully crafted estate wine brings a personal touch to each poured glass.
